PROFILE: Ian and the team extract metal from the Rangitikei River, considered the best/hardest metal in the country, and a preferred chip to be use on New Zealand roads. The crushed rock also is highly sort by manufactures of concrete and bulk trucking companies cart this metal to Auckland from this plant. The plant also supplies a concrete plant in Wanganui directly. Metal is extracted either from the river banks or a open cast operation on the neighbouring golf course where lakes will eventually add more spice (slice) to your game.
